If you’ve previously registered here…

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008

If you previously registered here at thinksobrain.com, you may notice that your login doesn’t work.  That would be because it no longer exists.  I realized something was up when we started getting an influx of registrations from the domain “mail.ru” which is a Russian site, apparently.  I thought it was kind of odd that every day I was getting at least one registration from that domain, so I decided to delete everybody, install some security measures, and ask our long time fans to re-register.  That and this time you get to pick your own password right off the bat!

Sorry for the inconvenience, guys, it was a necessary evil.

thinksobrain.com redesigned - again!

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

I don’t know if you guys realize this, but I do all the online stuff for thinksobrain, including our myspace and of course, the page you’re reading right now, thinksobrain.com.  And since this is about the 5th or 6th incarnation of thinksobrain.com when the band has only been in existence for two years, I’m sure you can all tell, I’m never satisfied.  I actually had another design in the works before this one, but after discovering Chris Coyier’s CSS-Tricks.com, I couldn’t resist going this route.  This one should prove to be the most robust yet, at least from my perspective as the designer and main contributor, because we’re now powered by WordPress, which has a lot of cool features.  I’m still learning though, so bear with me.

We’ve also re-added support for Social Networking/Bookmarking sites, so if you’ve StumbleUponed us, feel free to Digg us, because we’re delicious!

Anyway, I know you guys didn’t come here to read about my tech-savvy self and this spiffy new look for thinksobrain.com, you came here to see what’s going on in our world.  Right now, I think you guys all may have heard, we’re taking a break from the stage for a few months.  I’m not going to go into details because that’s another post, due in a couple weeks.  That doesn’t mean we don’t have stuff going on though - within the next couple of weeks, Quickstar Productions will be releasing Downtown Metal Vol. 6, which will feature our song “King of Chaos,” in CD and digital media formats including iTunes.

Stay tuned to thinksobrain.com and keep up with everything going on in our world - or you can use the brand-spankin’ new RSS feed over to the right!
